EUSR - Suction Excavator Operator Course
The EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) provides a range of training programs, including those for suction excavator operators. This training course is essential for individuals operating these machines in the construction, utility, and other industries.

Theoretical knowledge:
- Understanding the advantages and limitations of suction excavator technology.

- Understanding of the correct, safe and most efficient way to operate a suction excavator.

- Safe operation of the suction excavator, including starting, stopping, and manoeuvring.
- Proper use of attachments and tools, including demonstrating how to operate an air lance and air knife/soil pick in accordance with legislation and the specific manufacturer’s policy.

The aim of this course is to provide the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to operate a suction excavator and assist with air powered ground engaging tooling, safely, effectively and in compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
