The new ESE 6 – the next generation

The new ESE 6 – an overview

The new RSP ESE 6 suction excavator is the further development of our best and most popular suction excavator. It retains all the great features of the previous ESE 6 model, with some additional benefits:

  • Improved suction performance.
  • The option for a swivel joint which allows for greater flexibility and efficiency when excavating.
  • The extension nozzle can now remain on the articulated hose carrier, so no disassembling required – saving time and labour.
  • The new container contour enables unloading over higher drop-side bodies.

Features

Reduced costs and fuel consumption

With the new ESE 6 suction excavator, you’re able to work in suction level one, instead of suction level two – but with comparable suction power to the previous ESE 6 model. Excavating at this lower operating level reduces fuel consumption and therefore reduces the cost of running the machine. We have optimised the flow behaviour, which also means that the new ESE 6 outputs even more power.

Increased efficiency

The set-up and cleaning processes for the new ESE 6 suction excavator are now even easier and quicker. The suction nozzle can remain attached to the articulated hose carrier (the arm), so no dismantling is necessary, saving you and your operators time on site. The new container contour not only enables unloading over high drop-sides, but is also easier to clean, due to less material build up.

Improved ease of maintenance

The newly decentralised controller of the electrical components of the suction excavator is now more accessible at strategic points, which makes servicing and maintenance on the vehicle easier. The new ESE 6 also features improved insulation and a shifted frequency band, making it more comfortable to work with.

Newly developed swivel joint

The new swivel joint, which is available as an option on the new ESE 6 suction excavator, provides even better access to hard-to-reach areas. The working radius of the 6D articulated hose carrier is now up to 352 degrees. This increased working range means you don’t need to reposition your suction excavator as often, saving time and money.

Finance options & lead-in vehicles

One of the most frequent questions we hear is ‘How much does a suction or vacuum excavator cost?’ We recognise that suction and vacuum excavators represent significant financial investment and our account managers have lots of knowledge and examples of how other customers have funded their RSP suction excavators. So, if you want to know more about how to finance a suction or vacuum excavator, please reach out to our sales team.

What’s more, we have a fleet of lead-in vehicles, which allows us to offer you one to use while your bespoke machine is being built. This enables you to fulfil existing contracts immediately (subject to availability).
